DIY statement ring

What you’ll need:

- aluminium foil

- nail polish in the colours you want your ring to be; silver nailpolish, if you like to

- a ring

- scissors

-strong glue

- a piece of carton

At first you fold your aluminium foil (with the matt side to the outside) and cut it in a size you want to have you statement ring later. Then you add your nailpolish and wait until it’s dry.

After that you cut the piece of carton into the form you apllied the nail polish on the aluminium foil and put it directly under the nail polish between the folded foil!

Now you roll the aluminium foil to the middle and form it the way you want to have it. Subsequently you apply the silver nail polish on the edge of your statement ring, so it looks a little more like silver.

When the silver nail enamel is dry, you turn it down and stick on the ring – therefore you need a very strong glue, or you help yourself with another piece of aluminium foil and fix it with this.
